Story Hour

A diverse group of children and an adult sit in a circle on mats, reading books together.

Story Hour & Move and Groove

Story hour is a wonderful way to share the magic of books and the love of reading with your child.  Story hour promotes a love of reading, encourages early literacy skills and prepares your child to learn in a school situation.  But the benefits of story hour go well beyond school readiness and literacy. Story hour builds social skills and friendships for both you and your child as well as a sense of community belonging.  Come to the library and share the magic with your child!

  • Story Hour: Mondays at 10:45-11:45

  • Move and Groove: Mondays at 9:45-1045
    • These sessions often involve dancing, singing, and other activities encouraging kids to move around and participate actively.
